Have they fix the issue with fishing master world tour and kung fu panda legendary warriors? it keeps showing fishing master and kunfu panda. i tryed to upload my own cover to the sd card but it still did not replace the covers.

if you are a wiiflow user , you must delete all the files in your "cache" folder on your SD , or your new covers won't display.....
and there's nothing to fix on the site , everything is ok with these games :
http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=164...t&p=2438463

the problem comes from your old(?) version of wiiflow , or anything else , but not from WiiTDB.

Lustar: Struggled with the "Where the wild things are" cover but was the best I could come up with at this time. I can't find an orig any where I know the spine is custom, hope that is ok for now. I tried to make the rest fit the standards as best I could. If I get time I will send the 512x340 images I have. I will have to look for them. Thanks again for the input. I upload a Ben 10 vilgax attacks as well.

you're really not supposed to upload custom full covers for retail games. You either wait for the real thing to be scanned and uploaded or you just stick with a front cover. Your "Where the Wild Things Are" custom looks like shit, please don't upload that crap to the database, you're tainting it.

I'll stop uploading just to be safe. As for your comment though you can take a flying leap. If you knew how much effort went into trying to create something from nothing and time scanning the net and then putting up with all the nit picking bull crap you wouldn't be saying that. I give up. The only reason I put up with from some people is that I respect them and they give good feedback.

Just wait a little Mgrimmenator

Zorglub will send you a little but usefull app made by a friend of mine , to help you create fullcovers.

I'm with the other guy on not uploading customs, and if you'd bother to read the upload page, you'd see WiiTDB doesn't want them either, unless they've removed that 'rule' lately. I've had a cover or two that I had to make a custom for but it was nearly identical to the original (was from a pre-release cover on the publisher's website that was just missing a few details that I was able to paste in), but I PM'd zorglub07 first to get his input on whether I could/should upload it. One reason not to upload them is because some people who contribute won't take the time to actually check all the covers to see if they are customs and perhaps won't bother uploading a genuine retail cover they have if they see there already is a cover on the site. I didn't get to see your cover to judge how shitty it may or may not have been, but from your response it sounds like you didn't have much to work with so I'm guessing it wasn't too realistic. Another problem is, even if someone does spot that the cover is a custom and uploads a proper retail cover, the USB loaders won't know that, and the real cover will never get downloaded unless they regularly use the 'download all covers' which is a waste of bandwidth. It would be nice if the loaders implemented some sort of 'download different covers' using checksums or something but that hasn't happened.

BTW, I don't know if you're aware of it or not, but Gamefly has front/back pics and lately I haven't seen the usual watermark on them. Granted they're only 350x500 (certainly good enough for a 512x340 full, assuming you make your own spine) but it's better than nothing and you can at least make your own customs for your own personal use. But again, I'd still prefer just to have a front cover on WiiTDB until the real deal is available for the reasons mentioned.

I sent my images to lustar for approval hopefully he can put on the final touches if needed and upload the final product for Ben 10 Vilgax, Ice Age 3, and Where The Wild Thing Are covers.

If anyone has a HQ full cover for Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero, could you please either upload to WiiTDB or maybe post it here? Thanks in advance

Thanks, it looks very good

but if you still have the original files can you upload one without the "converted by" message on the top left of the picture?
You don't need to resize to 1024x680 at all to upload, if you have the original you can upload a much bigger file.

edit:
I removed the message and replaced the front part

Amazing. Truly amazing. Almost necessary and crucial to the popularity of loaders.

Again, totally amazing all that has been done for the wii homebrew/hacking scene.

So I've come to the conclusion that certain games DO have different discs depending on the language/region. I just uploaded the discs for Sims 2: Castaway and Sims 2: Pets, and as you can see they are both clearly German. I tried uploading them under DE, but I guess that the system automatically transfers any discs to the English category.

In addition, I found a disc of Resident Evil 4 which must be of Australian origin judging from the rating on the disc. Compare this with the already uploaded image here.

It seems like these different discs are rare and possibly are not done anymore to decrease production costs.

It does, for PAL games with a "P" game ID. The different versions seem to use a differerent letter, that can be seen on the disc (RVTFMR, RSND69).
But maybe this is not always the case?
(edit: I moved the Sims discs to the EN region)

I've done quite a lot of looking at Wii games lately

I've not come to by a gamecode (ID) which is released in different language packs. Mostly searching on ID and the first 3 letters will give you the set of games around. 4th letter is for region/different packs. (E=NTSC-U (USA), P=PAL (Standard release with English and mayby more), W=NTSC-T (Taiwan), J=(Japan), K=NTSC-K (Korea), U=PAL (Australian, mostly only English), D=PAL (Germany, sometimes more), F=PAL (French, sometimes more), H=PAL (Dutch, sometimes more), X,Y,...=PAL (Extra release, language must be checked).
Only I can't find a way to check correctly and fast wich language there are on a PAL release.

For your SIMS 2: Castaway, it's a multi language release. Including German. Most Wii games look at the language your console operates and select automaticly the language. So there can be also multiple covers/labels for the same release.

And for your Resident Evil 4 disc. Can you check the ID? (GameCode), maybe you've a new one.

So if you fill in extra info, be sure you have the correct ID (gamecode).

The 3D cover in this game is incorrect. Can someone fix it?

RUAE52 - Monster Jam: Urban Assault

The upload form states: "Do not upload 3D covers, those are generated automatically."

Thanks.

Wow! Thanks Benjay! That was quick!
