Thanks again, really appreciate all the hard work.

In regard to the disc art and 2d/full art, is there no generator for those as well, just 3D cover art? Guessing I will need to do them manually in photoshop, etc.

I made a Discord for GameTDB

Hello! I believe this link is broken. I've never joined this server and I can't get in either

The server move is very close to being finished. It got very much delayed because of multiple changes to the site. It will be worth it for sure, but it has been a ton of work.

We have seen some new people assist here and there lately, thank you to everyone who pitched in.

The site has been slow at times lately, mainly because of AI crawlers and stuff. There will be no breaking changes to apps which use GameTDB. Switch 2 database will be launched with the new site

And the server move still is in progress. I can't list everything that has been changed in the server move in 1 single message, but there will be new feature with the upgrade

This thread is pretty inactive, but I want to give an update to anyone reading this.

Lustar (the admin of GameTDB) is still working on a huge revamp for the site. It first was supposed to be just a server move, but since one thing led to another, it turned into a whole revamp for the site that has taking 7 months already, and is still being worked on.

The site be on a new server (the current server has been in use since 2011) and he has gone the extra mile updating all the software that the site uses... Pretty much everything is getting updated just from the ground up. It'll be the biggest thing that happened to the site in 15 years.

I was asked to not give all the details, but I will say that the new site will be way faster (GameTDB has been attacked by AI crawlers) but also a Switch 2 database is coming.

Lustar has wanted to do a whole upgrade for years but his life got busy. For now I have a script that scans the Switch eShop (or should I say eSlop) for all regions, plasters game artwork on a cover, and uploads them. It's just a quick way to make a cover for literally thousands of eShop games so something is on the page, since most don't have a physical cover.

Also, he isn't checking the GameTDB emails right now since it puts pressure on him during this. Until the new site launches, new people will not be granted to edit the database unfortunately until the new site launches.

I hope the new site will bring back interest to the site. I'll spread the word when it is out

Thank you so much for the update!

Please send all my encouragement and support to Lustar and the entire GameTDB team. The work you are doing is truly impressive, and I hope you can keep moving forward with the same dedication and passion.

As for me, my interest in GameTDB is still as strong as it was on the very first day, and I am eagerly looking forward to seeing all the improvements and new features.

A big hug to everyone, and thousands of thanks for everything you do for the community!
