Homebrew Gamestop refurbished updates?

I'm planning on buying a n3ds Thursday and would like to find one with 10.7 or lower. I haven't bought from gamestop in a long time. Used to be, I could go through their entire stock of psp's, ps3's, what-have-you, until I found the fw version I wanted. But Ive heard that recently they started updating all their refurbished systems. Is that true?

Yes and no.
What I mean is, the gamestops that actually care about economical self-preservence, update them on a regular basis. You'll usually find these types of game stops in major shopping districts and malls and all that.

Other ones that aren't exactly on par usually either don't update them, or usually restock before they finish offloading all the previous shipments systems.you'll usually find these everywhere else, or if it has lazy employees.


Lucky for you, your getting a n3ds so you can see the serial number printed on the box, and below are a list of verified serial codes and the fw they come with, assuming they are purchased new though.

Thanks for the reply, but I got 2 n3ds's the week this was originally posted. Both were on 11.1 so I got a 10 dollar eshop card and downgraded them both with fieldrunners and my o3ds.
