I figured it was about time to make this thread. I've been looking for a community that had a gamesharing thread but then I remembered we had one on the PS3 Games & Content subforum so why not make one for the PS4? If you don't know what GameSharing IGN has a nice explanation of it along with instructions on how to do it here.

Read Me First:
I'm pretty sure everything on the PS4 marketplace are sharable excluding PS3-> PS4 disc upgrades. (Digital upgrades are fine as they don't require the physical disc in order to play the game.) I'll create a list of game sharers, the games they have, and their trustworthiness. To put it simply post here with what titles you have purchased on your PSN account for your PS4 and I'll add you to the list. If you find someone in the list with games you'd like to play PM them and ask if they'd like to exchange gameshares. (They gameshare with you and you gameshare with them. Therefore you both get each others library of games at the same time.) If they agree then you exchange PSN account emails and passwords. (Be wary some people might want to steal your account. There are ways to recover your account however but just be cautious. After that follow the instructions posted by IGN to activate your PS4 with their account and then you'll be able to play their purchased games on your PS4 using your own account. Once you guys have your fill of each others games use the IGN tutorial to deactivate the PS4 from their account. You can only have two PS4s activated on your account at a time. So keep this in mind.

Figured I'd bump to see if anyone was interested. I bought a few games on the PSN store since I last posted this thread.

Bought a few more games plus my old gamesharing partner sort of ditched me so my account for gamesharing is back up.

    I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

    They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

    Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
    and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

    That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.

    I live maybe 3 minutes from a Dairy Queen, so I would just go there for ice cream anything anyways. I usually get the Oreo Blizzard, or a Peanut Buster Parfait.
