My greatest recommendation of a story on the DS is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fate, and it will always be the best for me. FFCC: EoT didn't come close enough or me too.

Its a very nice story, potraying the gowth of a young brat like Yuri into a mature kid. And friendship and all the game story stuff.

And how come no-one has mentioned Super Robot Taisen?
For SRT most people focus on the boobs... But I don't even play it.

I actually enjoy the game

(not because of the boobs)

that's bullshit and you know it.

anyways even though they've been mentioned before try FFIV, Dragon Quest V, or even FFXII RW

Agreed. While I wouldn't say that FFCC:RoF had the best story for a DS game, I can say that it does have one of the most emotional (although fairly generic) stories on the DS. Definitely give it a try.

Good Storyline Litmus Test:

If you like the characters and can name them 1 year after you played the game, it had a good storyline.

This is why I can remember FF4, FF6, and FF7 characters but not FF8 or FF9. LOL.
This is also why I can't remember any of the DQ guys... (Sorry DQ Lovers!)

Also, one good story for you is probably not a good story for me. The older you get, the more you see that stories are rehashed over and over and over. There is very little originality these days.

I dont see why you guys all like Suikoden so much, played it , got about half way and got HELLA bored, I mean i LOVE RPG's but seriously... not so good, Even Kirby held my interest longer, and Cooking mama lol, Suikoden just..... didnt do it for me
