Hacking Games Which include Channels

For Games that include a channel like Wii Fit Plus and Mario Kart. Can you install the channel with some sort of homebrew loader/installer ?

Or are the only options to Burn the ISO or Load from original disc ?

the channel should be a wad file on the ISO. just grab it with wiiscrubber and install it with wadmanager.
