Tower Defense types really haven't hit the DS for some reason. That Warcraft game is kind of silly. It was ultimately abandoned, even after some sort of fundraiser, and apparently he didn't feel that people donating some $200 warranted his time even after taking care of school. Who knows. The source is released, but purportedly a jumble and nobody has cared to take it up. The forum has been eaten by spam bots, so you're probably better off not even bothering with it.

Ninjatown's a great game, try replaying the missions and see which ones you can ace with only forest ninjas or something. Without a doubt, it could have been improved by some multiplayer and level editor. Hopefully they'll get to that if they ever exercise an interest in developing a sequel.

Hadrian : True, Love Lock's Quest except the art style.. they look... distorted to me for some reason.

Dark : I take Revenant Wings as different genre for some reason, even though it's the same.

nitrodude150 : is it good, but? gonna try it later.

I finished Lock's Quest and abandoned Robocalypse half way through before.

It's all been said before in previous posts, but as far as rts games on the DS go, Lock's Quest is probably the closest. Also FF Rev Wings and Robocalypse are good, but are more standard real-time strategy games. Oh, also Summon Night is pretty good.

I haven't been gaming for such a long time. Been mostly busy with sleep, hardware tinkering and checking GBAtemp frequently.

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.
