Hello, I purchased a laptop mostly for school but was interested in what games are really good that it should be able to play. I'll list it's hardware first.

AMD dual core athlon II M320 @ 2.10ghz
3gb of ram (ddr2...pretty sure it's 800)
AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200

I got windows 7 and a 250 gb hard drive (7200 rpm) so space ain't a big issue. I have some of the civ IV games, peggle, age of empires/mythologies...mostly rts that I knew it would run....just looking for other suggestions. I play fps, rpg, rts, rtc, sports...well, just to sum it up...everything. Any help is appreciated guys. I know this ain't made for gaming, but I know it has some potential. Thanks again for any responses.

Plants Vs. Zombies is a must.
Braid is also a must.
World of Goo? A must.
Crayon Physics Deluxe? Oh you better believe thats a must.
Hisoutensoku. Nothing but must here.

All require little PC requirements.

Try Torchlight. It's quite scalable so it should run good on a 4200, plus its very fun.

I was looking at torchlight about a week ago on steam...does it have multiplayer or lan?

No to both. The developers are working on a free MMORPG but that's a while off.

Mine is about the same spec as yours and I've had Half Life 2 episode 2 running on quite good FPS and graphics, Star Wars Battlefront 2, War Rock (this is a must, it's an FPS MMO free and low spec but looks great too),
Battlefield 2.
I've tried a few games which either I couldn't run well or haven't been able to boot yet.
Couldn't boot oblivion GOTY, get a disc error but i'm gonna fix it sometime and Mass Effect 2 I got a disc error and virus..
Borderlands I can run on full FPS but only on a res of 600x400 and no added effects, looks like crap but it's playable
L4D I've had running nearly full FPS but it does lag a little when a horde of zombies charges you

Basically you should be able to run most MMOs because they're built for all ages of PCs for more customers really...
Any PS2 ported games like SWBF2, red faction etc.

I've been able to run most modern games I've tried really but on low end graphics and resolution so if that doesn't matter to you give it a go why not
