Do you think there are more secrets hidden in the depths of our lovely system?

Who would've ever guessed that there was a sensor bar at the top of the gamepad? just like the yellow light that turns on when the Wii U is downloading in standby mode. this makes me wonder what else isn't known! obviously nintendo has had this planned for a long time, is there more to come?

OMG I gotta get out of my ROCK :)

Seems Nintendo listen to our prayers.

- or Miyamotos TV broke and he hadn't got the cash to replace it j/k.

(Plays Metroid on Gamepad... is amazed. )

Wait... you are... NOT Gahars...

I hope so but regardless of what others think the Wii U has earned my attention & money. If there are any secrets to the hardware in the gamepad or console is just a bonus.

The sensor bar that is in the gamepad is no secret, and usable since Wii U launch day with compatible Wii U games, when using a Wii remote.

I didn't know about that, but I also just got my Wii U a week and a half ago.

What Wii U games use the sensor bar features of the gamepad?

I was unaware of that.
Off topic - How did you get the hombrew channel to fill up that entire screen ? I'm getting 4:3 aspect.

Huh? Built-in sensor bar in the gamepad was known since the beginning :wtf:

Yep! This has been know for a while. What is strange is that the sensor bar on the gamepad only comes ON when the Call of Duty game is running. I don't know of any other game where it works besides this one.

I have known about the sensor bar since before I got the system. I have been speculating about the chances of this wii mode on the gamepad happening ever since.

I am very pleased Nintendo gave this to us. I still hope they will let the gamepad buttons emulate the classic controller....they do that and it is worthy of marketing the feature.

It has come in handy for multiplayer with my kids. My boy can not stay sitting and constantly gets up and blocks my view of the television....now I can just look at the gamepad screen .

Black Op 2 is the only game I know that supported it on the Wii U side. That game shuts down power the normal sensor bar when you turn off tv play on. Wish nintendo did the same.
