Gaming GameCube VC may be on Switch

we've been waiting for gamecube support since the wiiU came out :/

I know, right? Also, it's a rumor, but it's very likely to happen in the future.



I can't believe people are talking about hacking the Switch, even before it was released and people had the potential to hack it!

- Of course, it's always my first thought when a console is released...Cuz ya know, I'm a pirate and ish...

If GameCube can be emulated I'd be willing to bet Wii could likely be emulated as well, considering their similar hardware (that's why Dolphin has Wii support)

Running Wii games takes about twice as much power as GameCube
And there's the whole unique controller thing that most games require which can't really be emulated with a gamepad.

Honestly, there are a handful of must-play GC titles and you can play them already via Dolphin in HD.

If the GC games end up getting rendered in 1080p on the Switch, then color me interested.

Otherwise, I couldn't care less.

The Joy-con might provide that role, otherwise Wiimotes may just work with the system.

Except Nintendont isn't emulation, it's closer to a VM than an emulator; the Switch using VC would enhance the resolution like N64 games run at 480p.

I think if they will release a GameCube Virtual Console the wouldn't remake a gamecube game
(Sunshine,Luigi's Mansion,Paper Mario,Twilight Princess,Metroid....)
