Homebrew Gamecube VC Inject issues

Hi, I am having some problems with some of the gamecube VC injects for Wii U. Most of them have worked fine using TeconMoon but for some reason there are a few which have the ???. I have tried different versions of the Rom but still no luck. The game I am trying to inject is Simpsons Hit and Run. I was wondering if there is a particular host game that I need, if so where would one find a list of host games for gamecube vc injects?

im having he same issue with that exact game. which region is your console and which region is the iso you are using

xs4all says he got it to work, but he seems to be the only one. I think there's something about that game that isn't right for injects. No idea what.

OP make sure the folder that contains the rom or the rom itself doesn't have any special characters like & (i.e. The Simpsons Hit & Run) If so remove them and try again. There is no host game for Gamecube injects.

Otherwise if that doesn't work i would try to play it through Nintendont on vwii or if you have a hacked PS2 or Xbox (or Xbox 360, that's where I play it on my RGH as a Xbox 1 game) play it on there.

Same thing with hulk ultimate destruction they're made by the same team whoever created these games probably put some type of cheat protection or something. You can play the windows version of hit and run hulk doesn't have a PC version.

found the solution. on the injector, make sure to use the default repository images. and also if that doesnt work delete the "&" character from the game and from the directory of the game. if it still doesn´t work try another iso

hey had to make an account to thank you all, I was going insane trying to figure out what was going on with hit & run and this finally solved it! its for sure the & character screwing things up, I thought I had caught them all, but it took forever to realize I also had to change the default name on the gamepad/meta options tab of the tecmoon program. hope this helps anyone else with this issue!

same thing applies with wii injects avoid all special characters and logo like tm,&,²,³,-,... games like lego,batman,the simpsons,... often have such characters

That can be because the .tga on /meta folder are not valid. Try to decrypt the game and check the .tga files with TgaVerifiy (gbatemp.net/threads/tgaverifiy-a-tga-verifier.450997)
