ok, i've been having real problems with the past couple of GameCube discs i have bought recently as i've been wanting to place them on to my fat32 external hard drive...

they all load fine and play well from the disc channel...

i've tried using Clean Rip, part way through i recieve an error... its not just a one off either as it happends to every disc i have...

Check the discs for dirt/scratches. Just because they play from the discs doesn't mean there might not be a scratch or dirt somewhere else in the disc that doesn't get hit until a part of the game you haven't gotten to yet.

Have you considered using your Wii for the dumping?

That's what CleanRip is for; it's a Wii homebrew application.

But to answer the original question: Is it stopping at the same point for each disc or at different times? Have you tried ripping a disc that you KNOW is clean and without any scratches or dirt?
