Hacking Gamecube Launcher 0.2 question

First ..let me apologize in advance if this is something simple that i am missing. I have serched this forum and others for an answer and can't find one and i always post a question as a last resort. Here is my problem: When i download the 0.2 update for Gamecube launcher i am getting a GZIP file. When i use Winrar to extract it is giving me this file:[5133]gcbackup0.2[1].
The type of file is a 2[1] file. I have never seen that extension and i have no idea what to do with it. I can't find an answer for this anywhere. Do i need to change the extension?? Any help on this would be appreciated. I am currently runnning theta and wanted to try out this update.

Just copy miospatcher & rungbackup
after that patch your wii use miospatcher ( if you was do this , just leave this )
and you are ready to use gamecube backup loader

yes. that file needs to be renamed with a .tgz extension. then unzip and extract the folders tarantula mentioned above
