I'm well aware of the 4x GCN Port to USB by Nintendo, Mayflash, or whatever, though I'm more interested about 1x port USB if it exists?

I read that both are needed for the controller to work fully, but if one isn't connected then it simply doesn't vibrate and I'd be okay with that.

You want a single GC controller port? There aren't any that will work like an official one (with Smash and other compatible games), they'll only work as a generic USB controller on PC and whatever else supports that.

Mayflash sells an adapter that only has 1 USB port on it, but it only supports 2 controller ports. I'm pretty sure the 4-port Mayflash also works if you only plug in the black USB, since I believe the grey one is for rumble only.

EDIT: Here's an Amazon link if you're interested
