Gamecube Controller + PC Games

Note: First I don't know if this the apropriate category to write this thread in.

So I have a third-party Gamecube Adapter that says it can be used for PC games but I have no Idea how to set it up to work as a generic controller. I've seen a few posts about people doing so but no guides or info as to how. Anyone here know?

It works with a switch in the back that goes between WiiU/Switch and PC.
