Hacking gamecube controller not working with nintendont

I have a third party gamecube controller. i tested it once on nintendont and it worked, dont know whats wrong now.

i load it using hbc

Did you tested the gamepad on HBC icons (moving the pointer through them all around)?

It might sound like a very stupid question, but that would be a non made one, do you have the controller already connected before launching Nintendont?

my wii remote works fine getting into hbc, pointer and all.
i tried both ways. disconnected the gamecube controller before launching any game on nintendont. then, i instead tried launching a game with the controller plugged in before turning on the wii

Now I'm lost. Are you having issues with your Wii Remote or, instead, with your third party Gamecube controller?

So I was referring to the Gamecube gamepad as that was the issue you mentioned in your OP message.

sorry, i got confused when u said gamepad lol. i thought u were talking about the wii u gamepad.
the gc controller doesnt work on the hbc at all.

If the gamepad doesn't work on the HBC app selection screen, then it might be faulty. Can you test it on any other way (i.e. another Wii, a GameCube, or something like that)?

Yea, i tested it on my switch and it works fine. all the buttons work correctly.
