My HDD is partitioned with:
1 FAT32 partition (primary) 240GB ( where I have a folder for my GCgames)
1 NTFS partition 225GB (logical) (for wii games that cant fit and misc files)

I just checked. I also use minitool partition wizard but any partition program should work.

and Nintendont on the SD card inside the apps folder

then I just boot a modified version of GXloader that supports nintendont. just browse settings to locate GC game path and then select nintendont from the loader options for each game you play just for the first launch. and also choose to show GC games from the GX loader menu its one of the buttons on top.

USBLoaderGX supports Nintendont' natively just install Nindendon't and select Nintendon't as the GameCube loader in USBLoaderGX. The entire drive can be fat32.

Read the OP of the Nintendon't thread carefully. The games have to be named and placed very specifically on the drive.

I did

Then why won't it work?

Is the partition formatted as FAT32? If it isn't, use Wii Backup Manager to format it to FAT32.

GC games are required to be on a FAT32 partition. Make sure to also check your GC games' path. It should be some like: "games/FOLDER_NAME/game.iso" or something like that. I usually use DMToolBox to add games to my hard-drive (although it is not recommended by the developer(s)).

Says: To run GameCube games with Nintendont you need to set your "Main GameCube Path" on the first partition of the Hard Drive
Answer a couple of questions for me.

1. For Wii games is your HDD formatted to the WBFS format, or is it NTFS? (You said is was not FAT32.)
2. Are you using the latest version of USBLoaderGX?
3. Have you read the OP of the Nintendon't thread?
4. Do you have Nintendon't installed yet?
5. Do you have more than 1 HDD connected to your Wii?

try following steps 18+19 to launch it through GXLoder but you must remember you got to point GXLOADER where your Games are at on your HDD. and also change the setting in GXLOADER to Nintendont for "gamecube loader"

otherwise GXLOADER doesn't know what to do it won't find games unless you tell it where they are. and they won't boot with nintendont if you don't change the setting everytime for the game at first launch then everyother time the settings will be saved for that game.

step 1.) backup your HDD to your pc dekstop.

step 2.) download "mini tool partition wizard"

step 3.) find your HDD with the mini partition tool and click on it and hit format drive.

step 4.) at the top left of minI tool partition wizard click apply.

step 5.) now split the HDD with mini tool partition wizard partition on the drive. make on partition NTFS and the other FAT32.

step 6.) click apply again.

step 7 your drive should now have 2 seperate partitions. when you plug I n your HDD it acts as to usb HDD now instead of 1. right click on the FAT32 partition and click make primary and make the NTFS logical. click apply at the top.

step 8.) recopy wii games to the FAT32 partition. inside a folder called wbfs.

step. 9) record gamecube games to a folder called "Gamecube" on the NTFS partition.

step 10) google "GXLOADER +Nintendont"

step 11) download one that is compatible with Nintendont. there is a modified version out there somewhere or just use the newest GXLOADER as it states it works with nintendont.

step 12) start wii.

step 13) load GXLOADER

step 14) go into the settings.

step 15 browse until you see something about gamecube path. change it

step 16 go back to GXLOADER main menu screen where it shows games. (exit settings)

step 17) at the top select one of the icons to so that it gives you the option to view GC games.

step 18.) click on the GC game you wish to play once you are in GXloader. HOLD IT!!!.

step 19.) don't click play. click settings. go to the loader option for the GC game. and change it to Nintendont.
as well as emulate memory card if you wish and GC controller settings if you wish to use 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 you select the settings you wish to use.

NOTE: if you don't change it to nintendont at least one time for every GC game at first launch ONLY it will not use nintendont.

also the gamecube games must be in a seperate folder inside "Gamecube" for each game and the folder the games in must be called a specific name.

Okay well then it wouldn't be the "first" partition on the drive its the 3rd.

you have on disc3:
F:system (1st)
G: ? (2nd)
H: GC 3rd
I:4th
*:

(drive H:) has to be where F: is and set as primary so its first on the drive.

i would go ahead and backup your wii games and gamecube games and any other files you have on there. format the drive so you have 1 partition.
(right click disc3 and choose delete all partitions after backing up)

and then just create the FAT32 partition first then your wii partition and any others if you wish copy files back to desired location.

ex.
F: GC partition (FAT32 /primary) and I have a wbfs folder in this so GC and Wii are on same partition
G: 2nd partition
H: 3rd partition

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the hard drive you're using is a recycled hard drive from an old laptop or something, correct?

Nintendont probably can't detect the partition your GC games are on because there are two other FAT32 partitions.

Delete the SYSTEM and RECOVERY partitions on the hard drive, you're not going to need them considering they're used only in (OEM) OS drives and you're not using it for an OS.

Can you backup your data and repartition the entire drive?? Or can you put your GC games on a different drive and swap between the two based on what you want to play?

I recommend having 1 drive with only 1 that is FAT32. You will get the most compatibility out of that. There are game managers that will automatically split iso's that are larger than 4GB.

EDIT: Fixed Dumb Stuff

Nintendont is good as you don't need an actual Gamecube controller to play, you can use PC generic gamepads/controllers, and I think many others as well.
