Hacking Gamecube Action Replay Question

My Action Replay hardware broke, so I'm thinking about using my GC memory card instead, is it compatible?

Another question...can you add your own codes to the Action Replay directly from your computer? Typing 30 lines of codes eventually gets tiring sometimes, so I wonder, adding your own code to the ISO file or something like that...not sure if it will work or not, but is it possible?
