Hi There -

I received a Version 1 Nintendo Switch today, that had a known bad game card reader. Inspecting it, and comparing to a known working one, it appears 2 components are missing and I'm guessing that's why it's not working. Could someone please help me identify and point out the right components to order for this? Mouser links to the correct components would be super super helpful. Thank you!

These are the two components missing, Location is on the Gamecard reader, right below the headphones jack.

And this is a picture of a working one with the components I need.

I wonder why someone would remove those resistors.

No idea, but the one on the left is clearly a capacitor of some sort, and the other..... I'm not sure if that's a Diode or a Polarized Capacitor of some sort? I'm not sure what that is to be honest. If it were an SMD resistor, it would be black with a silver number on it and sometimes an R.... but that's not what this appears to be.

Hi,
I have a console that is missing the same parts on the PCB. Did you find out what parts these are?

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
