Hacking Gameboy games on DS?

I was talking to someone today, and they said they were able to play Gameboy games on their DS with the m3.
I would say it's possible but I never knew, if you can play the games for the original gameboy, what emulator do i use?

I think Lameboy plays gb/gbc games.

I use Lameboy. Save features are weird, but they work. Also, it has a zoom function to make the screen fit the top DS screen instead of normal GB/GBC style.

Thank you, it works, I'm just a little bit confused with the opening screen though, the D pad sometimes controls the bottom screen instead of the top
