Gameboy Color

So I found my Gameboy color, but im not sure if its working. I read places that after a while the battery area starts to get problems, and you need to put tin foil and all that crap, is that true? Iis they a place which i can by "DC 3v in" changer for the gameboy color?

The tin foil is a last ditch effort and it really doesn't work that well. People had problems with the GBC if the batteries were left inside to rot for awhile. If you are ok with electronics and know how to lean contacts. The contacts for the battery section are not that big, takes maybe 15 mins for fine detail cleaning.

Another option like you said would be to get a 3v DC charger. Which is really easy to find if you have an electronic store.

*OR* you can go all out and replace the contacts with a rechargeable battery set. Like one from a GBA:SP like I did
