Hacking Game updates

is it at all possible to turn off auto game updates Nintendo keeps trying to update all my dodgy games even though wifi is turned off , it's annoying

Your horizon version knows, that your games are outdated even without wifi. You can try going into recovery mode. But you probably can't get rid of it.
