Hacking Game Updates Region Question

Lets say my PSN is asia. If I install other region games can the updates be used?
E.g Borderlands 2 USA n USA Borderlands 2 Update.

Thinking which region psn should I use and which region games should I install. There are EUR n USA.

whatever the region the cart is from, that's the update it'll get

i think updates can be downloaded no matter what firmware you're on including ps3 and ps4 doesn't matter if your psn is from that region or not

I tried download the updates via psn but got an installation error. Is it due to the decrypted ps vita games?

in some rare cases the other region update might work, but i don't think it will usually.

If you downloaded the update and it failed, it's most likely due to decryption of the game. something is making it incompatiable.

what if you install a vpk game from the net with henkaku ! will it receive update if connected to the net ???

the updates won't work because the updates are encrypted and the way vitamin works is by decrypting the whole game.
it would be better if we had stuff like for ps3 where we can install encrypted content and just use licenses.
if that wouldn't work for vita... someone please tell me.
