I just recently bough a phat DS, and was wondering what games you guys would recommend. I enjoy any genre so all suggestions are welcome, my current line-up is Pokemon Pearl, Mario Kart DS, Super Scribblenauts, original Scribblenauts, FF3, Animal Crossing WW, and Nintendogs Lab and Friends

Edit: GBA recommendations will be welcome as well, I know nothing about the catalog so anything is welcome

I'd recommend the following games

-Solatorobo: Red the Hunter (I love this game)
-GTA Chinatown Wars
-Sonic All Stars Racing
-Advanced Wars
-Plants Vs Zombies (classic)
-Zuma's Revenge (classic)
-The entire "Dragon Quest" series (specially 5)
-Wizard of Oz - Beyond the Yellow Brick Road
-Chibi Robo - Clean Sweep (english patch)
-Henry Hatsworth (it was recently recommended to me)
-Rayman DS (altho there are better ways to play this game...)
-The Legendary Starfy (the only localized game in the series, the original trilogy on the GBA has not been fully translated)
-Radiant Historia (got a 3DS port, but DS version is still fine)
-Rune Factory 3 (this has a modern port, but this version is still fine)
-Rhythm Heaven
-Okami Den (altho it is no longer canon)
-The Sims 2 (plays nothing like the "real" Sims, it has a story and such)
-Nanashi No Game ("The Nameless Game" with the english patch, it is an interesting horror game that plays into the whole "cursed game" idea)

And how about some romhacks too?

Newer Super Mario Bros DS, Mario Kart CTGP Nitro and Ermii Kart DS are pretty neat

-V Rally 3 (pretty fun 3d arcade style rally game)
-Pocky & Rocky GBA
-Mother 3 (with the english patch)
-The Hamtaro games (they are pretty cute)
-Zelda the Minish Cap (great 2D Zelda game, it is also really pretty)
-Banjo Kazooie Grunty's Revenge (this one is not for everyone, only get it if you already like Banjo Kazooie)
-Yoshi's Island (classic)
-Both Klonoa games
-Mario vs Donkey Kong (I prefer how this one plays over the remake on Switch)
-Wario Land 4
-Asterix and Obelix XXL
