The following game when clicked on in Wiiflow R25 249 plays some mario game music.

Whats up with that?

RE3ENR WWII Aces

I get this too

My son always gives me a puzzled look when it loads!!

Guess it's on the image itself and someone was having a laugh ?

you can try to narrow down the issue by using another loader. then you will know if it is because the ISO or the loader.

I have to ask...confirmed the ID of the game...and the ID that this cover image has?

Yes the same ID RE3ENR, same game

Just plays mario music and the sound of him going down one of those green tubes!!!

Tried in CFG USBLoader 50 and the same, not that this bothers me in the slightest

You aren't alone... I've had 3 different images of this, all due the same thing. If you find a solution please let me know.

did you rip the game yourself? or did you pirate it from some random person that could have changed the opening bnr for some reason? it would be nice to see if somebody could make a channel with that banner and see what it looked like in the system menu. Because i don't think the mario game has the "pipe" sound effect.

I've found the solution for this issue, for some reason the .bnr file doesn't work but you can extract the correct file using Dolphin.

What you need to do is add the wbfs (or iso) file to your game list, then click on properties -> file system and you'll see all the files inside the "disc". Then you need to click on the "+" sign of partition 0 and you'll see the "data" folder and just below it there's a "opening.bnr".

Then you need to extract that file with right click -> extract file. Then choose the save location that you want and after that, you just need to rename the file to "RE3ENR.bnr" so that USB Loader GX can read it.

Copy the file to your SD Card to the "cache_bnr" folder of USB loader GX (if it ask you to replace the file, click on yes). Then, put the SD card on your Wii and open USB Loader GX and voilà, you should have the correct banner for the game.

Notes:
- I guess that you can do the same thing with other games that have the same issue, you just need to locate the ".bnr" file.
- I don't know if there's another program that can read the files inside a wbfs or iso file, but Dolphin is an easy "tool" to use.
- I don't use any other loader for the Wii but I guess that you can solve this issue with the same steps.
- There's another "opening.bnr" inside the "data" folder, if you click on the plus sign you should be able to see it just below the "objects" folder (I haven't used that .bnr file, so I don't know if it's the same, but you can try if you want).
