Is it possible? Do buttons work? I saw someone on youtube trying it few years ago on Android 10 but not sure if it can be done on Android 15.

I am considering of buying Game Pass for this as cloud offerings on Switch itself are slim and getting my own cloud setup is a hassle and would probably not work as well.

Yes, you can. I have an old version of android but I think it works the same if not better, the joycons work (remember to use the original ones) but AB/XY are swapped. There's a script somewhere on github that allows you to change this thing, I don't remember now sincerely what it's called and if on Android 14 you actually need it. I recommend using Better xCloud!

Thanks a lot. Could you share a little bit of your experience? How is the lag and service overall?

Honestly, I always played almost perfectly, before I used the native Xbox app but after November 2024 it is no longer supported in favor of the browser. The browser does not recognize the input perfectly (or at least I had this problem, with Firefox), while with Better xCloud I did not have an input problem and there are more configurations. I have a pretty bad network by standards (10 Megabyte in download and 2 in upload, to understand), but I didn't have any particular problems actually. If you use wifi, I recommend using 5GHz for better performance. What I did is I set it manually from the router, I have two networks (but that's actually one) divided by 2.4GHz and 5GHz

Awesome stuff thank you. Great information. So rumble works? And did you play it recently - meaning on Android 15?

Yes the rumble works, at least as far as I can remember, the last game I tried was Deathloop in November, but I was using the native app. I also tried Android 15 as soon as it came out, at the time it had a couple of xcloud problems, probably they fixed. It did not recognize some of the joycon buttons, so for this reason and for greater stability I switched to two previous versions (I do not remember if it is the 10, it should be the third latest release version of android switchroot). At least for me, with the last two versions I had stability problems while starting Android, while the 10 always went perfectly for me. I have Erista, so if you have Mariko/Oled/Lite (the modchip) you must use the latest android version
