Hacking Question Game keeps coming up with error when I try to load it.

Hi

I had smash installed. Updated it and still fine. Then I installed new dlc and it stopped working.

I have tried deleting it and reinstalling it q few times now. Both with and without the latest update.
Without the update it won't load as it needs the new update to boot.
With the update it just comes up with an error that it won't load and to try again from home screen.

I deleted the game using the data management Tool. Do I need to delete anything else? Is there something I should be doing?

You just need new signature patches.
Data management don't delete everything.

Tools like Tinfoil or Goldleaf can do it.

as far as I know it does.

I updated sig patches and atmos with aio updater and same error. "Can not start the software"

I had this with Dust: An Elysian Tail.

No idea how it fixed, tried reinstalling, installing different versions, not having any DLC (if there was any), tried versions from different sources, regions etc. Tried linking NNID as that somestimes screws with things, reset FW version, nothing worked. Oh I tried updating FW too.

One day, just 'worked'. Luckily, I have on Xbox, so not 'too' fussed, but just bugged me. I now have the same issue with Football Manager 2021, but again luckily it's on Game Pass so i have on Xbox and PC.

TLDR; No idea, sorry. Could try some of the things I mention above and see what happens.

Bravely Default 2 working fine.
Just smash I'm having these issues with.
Just tired uninstalling it with tinfoil and I deleted all the smash title keys with tinfoil too. Same issue
