Ok, there is this game I played when I was really young. it was for the computer.

    1) you were a black blob.

    2) the worlds were different planets

    3) the game was on one screen. (now the next part I am not too sure about)

    4) the blob would move on it's own once you started the level, and you had to get the blob to a certain point.

    5) The game is kinda like Lemmings I guess

    6) you had items to set down before you started the the level (I don't remember if you could place anything down once the level starts) but anyways, you place items down like a spring. fan, and other tools.
when you would land on the spring, you would bounce up, and if you bounced up in front of a fan, it would blow you to the side.

there were other tools, but that's all I remember.

How old is 'old' in this case?

    Dos? Windows 3.1? Windows 95?

Dunno, it kinda reminds me of "The Incredible Machine", but no black blobs there... Sorry

Ah ha! That should help the search.

I remember getting those demo CDs for my PC when I was young, too. Most of them were pretty forgettable, though [IMG]
