How to save in Evangelion Battle Orchestra, thanks to user chen19711 of PSPGen.com

In the main menu, go down to Options. You'll see 3 buttons, the 1st changes the volume (bg music, etc.), the second option can be used to change the controls. Go to the 3rd option (literally Load/Save). Then you'll see 3 options, the first is Load, second is Save, and the third option turns Auto Save either On or Off. You can turn on auto-save and then go down to the bottom right button, which is confirming the changes and exit (the bottom left button is Restore Default options, which has auto-save turned off). When you have auto-save turned on and exit the options you'll see the game begin to automatically save every time you do something. You have leave auto-save off and manually come to the Load/Save menu and save your game also. Just remember the FIRST option is Load and SECOND is Save.

P.S. Just in case, don't forget in Japanese games Circle is select and X is exit

After saving once it will stop to complain about Memory Stick on game beginning

Problematic:

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny USA -> Boots, but hangs before battle (same bug as EUR version unpatched)

What PSP can benefit?

* The PSP 1000 and PSP 2000 (until mobo TA-088v2) using Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-B (or 5.50GEN-B2)
* The PSP 2000-TA-088v3 and 3000 using the 5.03GEN (use mode driver in the M33 vsh menu) [Not all games works @ 5.03]
* Some games will also work @ 5.00M33-6 and it seems to be working @ 5.50-U3R too


Installation:

* Download Game Decrypter v2 by Yoshihiro ( http://www.megaupload.com/?d=51MCK1OF )
* Connect your PSP at your PC via USB
* Enter USB Connection
* Extract files and put at your MS root (or the folder GameZDecryptZ direct to \PSP\GAME)


Using the Tool:

* Install UMDGen 4.00 at your PC ( http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NB3IYN1X )
* Open your UNTOUCHED ISO with UMDGen 4.00 and go to File -> File List -> Export... and save it as a .txt file (thisgame.txt for example)
* Close UMDGen
* Reopen UMDGen and reaccess the ISO File
* Retrieve the file EBOOT.BIN located in the folder PSP_GAME / SYSDIR of your ISO (clicking with right mouse button at it and choosing Extract Selected).
* Place this file in the root of your Memory Stick.
* Going into the game menu on your PSP and launch GAME DECRYPT YOSHIHIRO.
* Press X to patch for your file (wait few seconds, then returns to XMB homebrew).
* Connect your PSP to your PC using your USB cable.
* At the root of your Memory Stick is a new folder "decryptor". Inside the file is located EBOOT.BIN patched.
* With UMDGen, replace the original file EBOOT.BIN the new resulting file.
* Go to File -> File List -> Import... and import your previous .txt saved list (thisgame.txt for example), the program will warn you about force positions, but accept anyway
* Rebuild your ISO clicking at Save button and upload it to the folder ms0: / ISO of your Memory Stick.
* Your ISO is now working on your custom firmware GEN.

I can confirm GT EUR don't work either. I tried it 3 times over with both GEN 5.50 B2 and 5.03 but never worked.
I heard Orochi CHN and Tenchu 3 works but haven't tested it myself.

PSP 3K users really have it bad huh xD
I remember installing CFW 8 times over last night because PSP 3K would keep resetting itself while testing for games

Nice. I kinda saw that coming.
What I am really interested in is its compatibility regarding PSP 3K xD

PS- Orochi KR (korean) works with both PSP 2K and 3K. Dunno about the Chinese version yet.
Also, Gunshot and Diamond KR refuses to repack @ UMDGEN so I suppose it doesnt work.

I have GT (U) i think and it works with 5.50 gen b-2 after applying the patch.

Your memory card could be generic, you'll also get a similar result with some games like Rock Band.

I have the same out of sync in the movies but i had the ISO compressed as CISO so possibly that the reason.
