Hey all. I haven't been on the site for a away and right now I can't go searching through everything with what I have going on. I have a buddy just got his galaxy new 3ds in the mail 4 days ago then he updated it on Friday to 11.0.4? I believe that's the newest. I wanted to know if his model and firmware can be hacked? If so how?

Yup, the Galaxy at 11.1 can be hacked, but just needs an already hacked 3DS to system transfer over to it.
I want to do the same thing from o3ds to n3ds, are both still usable after transferring? Will they have different nnids?

They are both usable afterwards anyways. The only problem is that if you want to bring the NNID back to o3ds, calling Nintendo is the only option. Just tell them that you regretted transferring, and have formatted the system on n3ds but still can't link it back to o3ds. It'll be very likely that they agree to do it for you.

Hmmm I'm confused then. The NNID is so you can play online right? But both will still work online?

Just found out he's doing alright, doing a lot of complaining too, rightfully so. Who wouldn't complain after having a seizure and being hospitalized?
