Well, good news and bad. Soft reset now works with Madden and Tiger Woods 07. However, for Zelda, I can run it with soft reset turned on, but I can't actually USE it.

Is anyone able to actually soft reset while playing Zelda?

Moonshell 171 still doesn't work properly. I've tried the auto-patch version and the R4 version.

Both have the touchscreen uncalibrated or something, it's always a couple of centimetres off. The same problem as the one on the G6 website.

At least it's always worked on the G6 Lite - good old trusty G6L.

Yes it is very irritating. I tried using MediaExtend (or whatever their built-in on is called). I can actually use it now, but the video is very skippy and everything is just lower quality in general (blurriness and lag)

Media Extend is only good for DPGs encoded with DPGTools 1.0.

Very annoying.

Apparently it's a version of 1.6, but I only read that in another post here on GBATemp.

Tried it out, kinda meh at the moment. I assume it's a sort of beta. I don't understand why there's a GBA button when there's already a slot 2 boot button. Seems redundent. Tho perhaps I'm not understanding it since I don't even bother with slot 2 things. As much as I wanted to enjoy Spider-Man: Friend or Foe, it sucked. So no need to worry about buying or even playing it on the G6. Soft Reset didn't work for Zelda:TP either, but hard resets still work fine. I'm pretty happy with 2.3's look and functionality, just tweak the game compatability/soft reset compatability, and other minor things like Moonshell always turning the backlight to level 3, and it'll be better.

Well the GBA button is a built in manager for the use of their own GBA expansion pack. Slot 2 booting is just for booting standalone cards

lol, not even Mtv could group all those stars for a Super Bowl Half-time dance show! So you are saying the G6 will have animated desktops? holy friggin cool! The skins would look amazing like that!
