Hacking G6 Lite + Flashme

I'm well aware of the fact you can't use recovery mode on a G6 Lite.
So I was wondering, what's the chance of hitting the VR/Shutting the DSL down, using a screwdriver wrapped in normal transparant tape.

I use transparent tape (selotape) as insulation. All other tape makes your tool too fat to fit. As long as it's not conductive it should be ok.
