FW question

Hello all, I'm trying to run FF resonance on 21.2.0 without having to update my FW. Is there a way to stay on the FW I'm currently on and play this game ? Or do I need to update my FW to the latest to be able to run it ?

I was trying to install via DBI but it gave me the "cannot parse NCA, OLD FIRMWARE"

Sadly no. Base game requires 22.1.0 and its update requires 22.5.0

ooof, should I just go ahead and update to 23.x.x or whatever we're on now ?

Yes, theres no real reason to stay on old firmware unless waiting on a new Atmosphere . If you want to play new titles/DLC you'll have to check what their FW requirement is b4 you update.
