Your allowed to modify your property, the big issue he did was instruct where and how to get the pirated games. Ebay also doesnt like modified counsles and wont let sell if you try to say it in title. Sony cant say ohh well you cant modify the system, you cant put a sdd in because we want it to operate the regular drive vs you cant jailbreak to play pirated games or even backups because of copy right. U buy a game its 1 copy you get and u cant share it or back it up supposedly. If it was just modded with no instruction where to get games sony would have no case

Nope they can still sue you for backup, installing CFW is fine, you can't sell backup, it is the intellectual property of other companies, they can claim the stuffs belong to them and sue the shit out of you. Upgrading HDD isn't modding, when you install a mod chip into a system or selling console with CFW then eBay doesn't like those. What Geohotz did was providing keys opening door to CFW, the current PS4 5.05 setup require no key, just kernel level exploit allowing to get access to debug menu and install fake package file.

as morpe said in the video, hackers are not afraid of the right ... there is a lot of anonymity, you can also say that it shared or created your child who is few years old (which may be true, think) that hackers are weak, inexperienced, could have appeared anonymously CFW for 5.05 but did not discover ...

Why? because hackers are incompetent and unable to do anything, they think of themselves as "pro", but in fact they are noo*s what they do with 2D graphics in 2019.

This is not a spam or a flame, it's a friendly and true view of this "hack" community.

one person can publish half a key, another another key ... in other words, nobody did anything. The possibilities are a lot of a lot, for a moment to fly to another state with different laws, etc.
