Gaming fun DS sports titles

I've been goofing around with the emulators lately, and just wondering if there's any titles for the DS that are similar to:

tecmo super bowl
Baseball Stars
Super Dodge ball


There's definitely a ton of soccer games for the DS, and a couple of them are ok, tennis isn't really my thing

I'd like a fun football game, and madden doesn't really fit that bill (I'll play my madden on my bigger consoles, heh)
or any other silly style sports games

Super dodge ball brawlers (Chou Nekketsu Koukou Kunio-Kun Dodge Ball Bu) is out on the DS only in japan, BUT is coming out in America in just over a month.
Worth a play now, easy to play without any knowledge of Japanese.

I take it back, that game is the opposite of hot stuff

maybe I'm missing something, but it's not even a tenth as good as the GBA version

can you not send players jumping, and do all the formation stuff as in the previous version?

You can do all of those things, maybe you should wait for the usa version.

i would like to see EA take a stab at a hockey game..stick handle with the touch screen possibly..idk, it has the potential to to be cool if they did it right..ima huge fan of the EA hockey games.

Yea it is slower! I don't really mind that though, its easier to do the specials and such, plus the character customisation is AWESOME

I miss hockey on the DS too, and I'd rather see an NHL title than backyard sports version. The GBA versions were OK, but felt more like SNES versions with updated rosters.

A good baseball game would be nice too, and again, not backyard sports either.

FIFA 08 game isn't bad IMO, and the Madden games are usually alright. (For versions on the DS... Also, I have no experience with ANY other versions of those games, as I usually play sports games on consoles and always buy the NHL games first -> usually means I never get around to getting any other sports games as one is usually enough to keep that portion of my playing occupied, especially when they have season with trading modes...)

I'd kill for a decent port of a NHL game to DS

the madden games have kinda sucked that I've tried

I think something like Tecmo bowl would fit more with the DS style
