Homebrew Full Shutdown Channel

they cant update you n00b. there is no code in the system menu to allow them to do so, despite you agreeing to them updating without your knowledge in the EULA. But they don't have the code, so you'd have to update for them to be able to update you automatically. If they just auto-updated you, they'd be putting themselves up in line for a lot of complaints, such as them wasting bandwidth without permission, and possible Wii bricking if someone unplugs their Wii when they don't know its updating. They can't yet, and probably never will, automatically update without your knowledge and permission.

why the f*ck are you so lazy that you can't
1.get u off your apparent giant ass
2.lift what you must assume to be the heaviest finger in the world
3.press the power button
4.somehow hold your finger there for a GIANT five whole seconds

i know it seems impossible but with a lot of time and energy drinks you might accomplish the IMPOSSIBLE

It's b/c of the preloader shiet that make my wii not fully shutdown. I try all configuration and nothing works. I wish i can uninstall it, but i can't. I would like to request one too.

if you disable WC24 you cannot enter the weather or news channels,

and @pandora, the power button on the wiimote shuts down to standby

Just turn off Standby Connection in the Wii Connect 24 menu. Then there's no standby setting just off and it works from the WiiMote. Good for those of us with USB drives powered from the USB port!!!

Oh my god !!!!

I cant believe it was that easy I was sure my other wii went into full shut down couldnt work out why this one didnt lol

why don't just just hold the power button on your wiimote? that turns it off as much as it will turn off.

Like most electrical appliances today, you can't turn the damn thing off properly without pulling the plug.

Either:

You have your wii on wc24 and when you power it off it goes into standby with wc24 on (orange light)

or you power if off with wc24 off and it goes into normal standby (red light)

OR you just unplug it instead of needlessly wasting electricity & money by having everything on standby because you can't be bothered to turn things off at the fucking plug. Seriously it drives me nuts when I go to peoples houses & everything is on standby constantly.

And if your wii is covered by boxes, move it ffs, instead of waiting for someone to code a fucking app.

Jeez, methinks this thread is pretty wiitarded
