I once draw this manga dude with black liner for some art lesson. And I get a 6/10 (10 is best) for it... While other people got sevens or even higher for things that would make a 3 year old stick figure look like a Picasso. So I said fuck this shit! I worked hard on this. She says: Excuse me? I worked fucking hard on this an while you may think I'm into pokemon and like to draw in my spare time, your wrong. SO this is realy fucked up. okay......8/10 but if you ever talk to me again like that you will fail this class. Well, I can live with that

I feel your pain.

Been there. (it was back in the 70s admittedly, but been there).

English class, I turn in an imaginative piece of writing (I thought). It was about a 60 gunner that went beserk from heat stoke and chewed up half of his patrol.

The teacher was a widely disliked woman in the school. She has all the qualities of a grade 3 teacher, which would have been ok if she wasn't teaching in high school.

Well she responds on the story, "seems like a typical war story". I had a lot of trouble not having a fit.

You see SHE had NO idea what Vietnam was like at all (the focus of the setting), and I was a reasonably young adult returning student, and I had actually been in the army only months earlier.

The idea of some dumb bitch telling an ex soldier bugger all about his world did NOT sit well. Hell I'd have been ok if she has simply wrote, your prose needs a lot of work and left it at that.
I suspect she was likely a closet peace freak piece of shit.
