Homebrew ftpii assistant needed

He;s winding you up aswell i recon..... all FTP clients iv'e used....WORK!
Why should i tell you something that's so simple, don't you ever learn or figure out anything for yourself!

XP & iv'e tried with Vista
Xp is always the most easiest of OS's to use

ok, do you have admin rights? I'm using a firewall (bitdefender) does that need to be disabled?

yes im the only user on my PC, and i just have normal windows firewall on...

Some routers just won't work with FTPii >__>

dissable your firewall first to see if it will work,
the load ftpii
then go to your ftp/fxp program and load it up with the wii's settings, not all that hard to do

to use windows go on internet explorer type ftp://[wiisipaddresshere] then it will load it then press page and open site in windows explorer

Try forwarding port 21 in your router's setup... try typing in 192.168.1.1 at the address bar in internet explorer or firefox and see if it takes you to your router page... there you should be able to use the option to port forward. If this doesn't work... then you are probably just shit out of luck... also temporarily disable bitdefender and your firewall... that would narrow it down for you... it's called "troubleshooting"..
As for Afif's guide.... it has been working for 95% of the readers who tried it... guess you may be that 5%.
