So... what if your IP address is set to "Automatic"? (In other words, no determined IP address.) In this case, what IP address do I use, the DNS Primary/Secondary?
use whatever ip youre given, it is detailed in the internet option
DNS doesnt matter since youre not resolving host names

Am I looking at the right place? Or I'm not seeing where I'm given the IP Address at?

My connection status is "Not Connected". I'm using the "Test Connection" method to get into HB Launcher.

So I'm one step back.

UPDATE:

Oh now I get it. I need to make the Switch to register the new network connection, so there's a green checkmark.

Previously I never had the green checkmark, and was able to launch HB Launcher and PegaSwitch without even letting the Switch to register the connection, hence I was not able to see the IP address the Switch has registered to use.

If rebooting the Switch, I need to run PegaSwitch 3 times in total. 1 to install Homebrew Launcher, 1 to Run, and 1 to Cancel back to the Internet Settings. First 2 steps would error out, so the Switch isn't able to register. It's only when Step 3 is done, then the IP address gets registered.

use NxLINK its not like ftp but helps
That was the app for sending homebrews to the Switch?
That's pointless for me. I can get apps through the appstore and FTPD works from PC to Switch as well. I need the other direction to easily backup screenshots and homebrew savegames from the Switch to my PC. :P

It will be great to write IP address in the program, because I sometimes forget to look in settings before launching it.

Hi any way to make it compatible with 4.1 ? a build process or something ?

Works on 4.1 ^^ but error 2345-0021 during download

Could someone make a file explorer that is offline? So if your switch is connected to your computer, through usb - then you could transfer files?

Does FTPD have a way to keep the switch from going into Hibernation?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

it says my ip is 0.0.0.0, do you know why ?

ftpd will listen on all network interfaces(hence 0.0.0.0) and not just bind to a specific interface. I'm not sure if you can modify the config to bind on just one network interface
