I'm trying to install the homebrew channel for vWii on a 5.3.2U system. I'm using a 2gb SD (non-SDHC) with the latest versions downloaded directly from the site. But whenever I get the homebrew to boot up the first time after clearing the Smash Stack custom maps I get to this screen WITH the Press 1 to continue button, but it never lets me press 1 on my wii remote and just freezes at that screen until I pull the power plug (only way to get wii to restart). I've tried doing this a few times now and same result each time. And I'm unable to find any advise on how to fix this.

The Press 1 to continue button pops up and I hit 1, then nothing happens. I let it sit there for like 5 minutes then have to pull the plug on back of wiiu.

EmceeKerser The wiimote is properly connected, it's an original one without the wii motion plus built into it.

endoverend I've reformatted the SD card twice so far. Still hasn't worked.

That is the type of wiimote I'm using. That's the correct one right?

edit: sorry for the huge image, lol.

That wiimote should work. Did it come with your system or did you buy it separately?

Bu2d85 I really don't remember. I had one that came with the console and 2 I bought separately. No idea which is which, they're all that same type though.

If one came with your system is has the wii motion plus built in. It is also almost impossible to find and old one now unless you get a used one from a game store. On the bottom of the front of the wiimote it says "Wii" is there anything written below that?

endoverend I deleted the 3 custom stages yea, I'll try changing the SD sector size. I was using FAT. Does it HAVE to be Fat32? I read FAT was fine too.

Bu2d85 There is nothing written below the Wii, has the normal 4 lights and then just says Wii.

The only thing I can really think of now is to try a different sd card.

Try running Project M. It uses the same exploit. If Project M does not load I would say it is the sd card.
