All Credit for the video goes to gamedexterity.

For Fats: You just need a credit card (or gift card), cut it to make a slide tool, take the faceplate off of the disk drive (it pops on and off), and use the tool to quickly swap the discs.

Any way of doing this on a chipped ps2 with a dying laser? (completely incapable of reading CD's, and a lot of error's with DVD's, though it will run if the game is started)

Well yes... You can install freeMCboot with... FreeMCboot. You don't need a dvd drive at all. I think it should be included in the installlation method because its by far the easiest method literally takes less than 2 minutes no console opening just put in and play... And its completely free you don't need to buy anything just need to figure out a way to find someone who has it...

He's not wrong. It's just an alternative method of doing it. You should edit in, because the magnet method can be hard to handle for people that are unsure about it. It's also pretty easy to mess up your PS2 if you make a mistake - and that's from personal experience xD.
the magnet method? it's just the normal magnet that is on the ps2 & the disc locker thing (technical term)

it's really just stop the disc, pull of the white plastic thing and the disc, put the DVD on, put the plastic thing back on

That's what I had before. But I switched it as it can hurt some people if they don't know what they're doing.

you should definitely put both in, why would you limit it to just the one method?
Well, then people may complain that they got hurt when the tried. Though, if wanted, I'll add both.

Not an option I'm afraid. You see there is only one other that has a PS2 that I know of, and I'll be damned before asking them a favour.

There's people at psx scene and somepeople here that could do it for free. I could do it for you, but your in a different region.

And I should probably add that into the guide.

i'd just like to point out the "Greatest Hits" version does indeed work with no issues, it hasn't been patched, you just do a single swap when the lady starts to talk on the second mission and then press X to load the second mission and UlaunchELF comes up.
the game has red "Greatest Hits" casing and red on the disc too, so i know it's a greatest hits disc i'm using and it works just the same as the black label.
i think your thinking of the xbox "Platinum Hits" versions of exploitable xbox games being patched not to work with exploits. that actually is true.
you should remove this so people know they don't have to hunt so hard for black label prints of this game.

Well, terminator told me that black disc only work.

QUOTE(Terminator02 @ May 11 2011, 02:56 AM)
i got agent under fire used from gamestop for $4, but remember it has to be black label, the greatest hits version was patched so it doesn't work

Can you confirm for me that the greatest hits version works? I've only tried the black disc.

also i am willing to do some free installs for people with you guys as well so you can add me too, same requirements just need paid post both ways.
located in lower Alabama if that might be closer to a few people.
i can do installs on USA region consoles only , i have a SCPH-30001 R and a SCPH-50001 console, not that it matters as i can do multi version installs anyway.

yeah a good bit of guides i see online say that it doesn't work with greatest hits, but i have seen a few comments around Google saying otherwise.
the Game Stop near me doesn't have any black label copies of AUF, only 007 black label game they had was Night Fire, heck i just tried red label on a whim and it worked first try.
i said before i think the platinum hits for xbox being patched got misinterpreted as greatest hits for ps2 being patched, then along the way somewhere it just became a popular misconception from there on out.
this is really good news for those who have only seen red label versions though, that version of the game should be much more easy to find then the black label ones.

Funny, I got a black labeled one from Gamestop.

Well, I'll be sure to change it, but not right now, I'm really tired right now, I didn't come home till 2 in the morning.

Great guide, some things to consider adding/revising

Q: Does this work on every PS2?

For SCPH-9000xx PS2 with a datacode of 8B and earlier will work. Datecode of 8C, the bios must be version 220, not 230. Bios version can be check in uLaunch

Q: Can I use a backup copy of AR Max, Codebreaker, or SwapMagic to install FreeMcBoot?

A: No

QUOTE1:AR Max EVO disc

2: Latest FreeBootMC. You can find it at the top of the page.
Typo, and consider adding download link next to it. Or add "You can find it at the top of the page" for the other methods.

I'm sure you know but Fat PS2 disc swap a bit vague. A video of this would be great, but have not stumbled upon some good ones.
