4xHDcube3 with Chainner, Waifu-2x-Extension-GUI, and Cupscale with third party models are all better than upscayl.

Im getting into the others gradually, but upscayl is pretty simple & fast, not to mention free. The interface and presentation are easy on the eyes. Learning a lil chainner to convert models for upscayl use. Theres a tutorial on that which Does help.

There is a standalone offline local download. I dont know about any credit system. I dont like paying when there are other alternatives just as good or little under.

I have been going HAM on PS1 games..esp Dead or Alive, lately. Been Trying upscayl (Novice app) on Beetle vs Duck ...it seems that you can upscale x4 and still get a sweet FPS from Duck @10x res but Beetle slows up when x4 upscale is evn 8x (Having to go 2x up @ 8x res or 4x up @ 4x res to get playable frames w A beating towards the texure or speed). No rant just wanted to share w 'yall. Chime in for thoughts if you feel me or got tips.

I don't know if it's possible to but if the app allows it, save the images as DDS (BC7 or DXT5) for a bit more performance when emulating.

Sadly, Beetle and Duck doesn't support DDS

Just Grab urself topaz gigapixel from the Highseas the „crack“ is just some registry tweaks

Ahoy, Matey. Already have Topaz (Top Notch stuff) but Seems Straight to the point no models, really. I like the exploration and comparisons. Yeah, no DDS on Duck or Beetz. IMO, Duck w stable build for dumps, beats Beetle @ texture/speed/res (Tested). As i would do a quick campaign for feels i noticed and Ducky was behind in the race, ealier. 10x, Devs.
