I bought 2DS with CFW and Free Shop already installed, and i was using it for some time now. But as a big KH nerd i wanted to try the 3D Dream Drop Distance game but it isnt in the normal shop so it also isnt present in the free shop. Now my friend downloaded the game from torrents and got bannned for playing online and using eshop. Is there a way to play the game but without getting banned from nintendo? Maybe mod the game to be undetectable or something idk i just want to play the game, but i cant

Recently Nintendo banning people playing .cia games only, not worth the risk for a game worth 15 bugs...

Download the cia and install with FBI. You won't be banned for installing a game. You get banned for:

a) playing an unreleased game online
b) cheating online excessively
c) after being detected to have CFW at some point in the past (using an installed homebrew while connected to the net) then in one of their ban waves (of which there hasn't been one in a long time).

Pirating by just installing a (released) game is safe.
