ok some of you may know i formatted my pc from my halo ce problem post (still haven't fixed it and yet to be bothered)
my mouse is playing up now..
when i click some things it selects a heap of text or selects a text and when you move the mouse around it drags the text with it
    its rather pissing me off!

edit: oh and it make me like click 3+ on something thats meant to be double click!
    F*ck i hate windows

Are you even sure it's a Windows problem? It sounds like a dying mouse.

The spring for the left click is probably going bad, which results in things like odd dragging behavior and double-clicking. It happened to my mouse a couple of months ago, I just bought a new mice. If you want to be sure about it just try the mouse on a different computer.

Try that and also try a friends mouse on your PC, see if it still acts the same

did it need drivers when you installed it first time around?

maby its installed default windows drivers which are pretty crappy for specific hardware!

perhaps look on the manufacturers website and see if there is a driver download [IMG]

Either dying mouse or a dying battery.

Some Logitech mouses had a bit of a quality issue some time back - I have 5 from the era and 20% of them had manufacturing errors. [IMG]
