Gaming Frames per second time demos

Want to know how do i do those time demos to find out about how good my pc is. I can do the FEAR and Company Of Heroes demos cuz its all there in the options but what about games like Stalker, UT3, Gears of war even. Hope someone can let me know.

just use 3dmark. if you really want to, use fraps' benchmark option. it'll record your fps and when your done, just do the math if you want an average

Ask on the forums where it was benchmarked, for the proper commands.
