Fractured knuckle

Anyone know how to tell if a knuckle is broken or fractured
ATM my bottom two are swelled up like a golf ball
long story sort some guy was grinding on some girl I liked and trying to show off about it so I jawed him (I was drunk) but I've now said to him I'm sorry and we're back to being mates (sort of happy ending).
And now I need to no what's up with my knuckle for now I'm hiding it from my mum by using a glove.

Unless you have very weak knuckles, you probably just bruised your knuckle.
Fractures and breaks are more or less the same thing. (though I think the difference is breaks are more severe, but are treated the same way)
Unless you broke the guys jaw or something, then it's probably fractured.

Make a splint and don't move it for two or three weeks. If it's fractured and you keep moving it you'll be in for big trouble. The bone won't mend and it may end up having to be pinned. Good job though!

If it's swollen then I suggest you ice it, that will bring the swelling down, if you still can't move it then chances are that it's broken or fractured. Dunno if elevation counts on that, I've only sprained my ankles so yeah

you can't really know, visit a GP and get an X-ray of your finger. If it's really fractured you don't want to mess with it, you'll do more harm then good. Better safe then sorry.
