Folder won't delete

Click Start, search for "cmd" without the quotes, right click it and "Run as Administrator"
run this command:

sfc /scannow

and when that finishes, this one

chkdsk /f /r

then reboot.

I did that yesterday and sadly it is wont work. Now today, I make new folder on desktop. Now I cant delete it. Do I have to change the setting in folder option?

You could try some of the various 'Fix It' packages from Microsoft. I will link one that sounds as though it might help, there were some others that looked like they could too if you look through afterwards if this one doesn't work.

Repair Windows folders and directory error problems. click the 'Run Now' on the right and it downloads an .exe that just asks if you want to run it, then if you want it to automatically repair them or let you choose. You should probably do the second and choose to see which errors it displays and if you want to fix them.

Here's the link for the page to just look through problems, I went from: Problem Area: Windows>What are you trying to do: Fix performance, errors or crashes> File backup and recovery. There's a search too if you want to just type 'Folder' it shows a lot of results, but not other 'fix it' packages. Like I said, not sure if that can fix it, but it can't harm anything.



Edit: If the above does not work, it notes the problem can be due to a corrupt FolderDescriptions key in the registry. Here is a file that deletes and then restores the registry key. Use it if the 'Fix It' doesn't work. Link
