My vita is one where you press O to select things and X to go back but with adrenaline X is used to select things. Is there a way this can be changed?

It works pretty much the way it did back in the PSP cfw, just keep R pressed while opening your game to load Adrenaline and you will be on the Recovery Menu, just navigate to the Registry and change X to O.
