Flip Grip is a grip for vertical playing. Supported games are listed on their kickstarter page.
Note that homebrew emulators like pFBA support vertical gaming as well.
As a final addition this (or something like this) might be a must have for all fans of DS emulation on the Nintendo Switch.

No description, just a link and an image. Signs of a quality post. /s
Also... why? There are no games that use the console like this and if it was a possibility, Nintendo would have an official solution. This grip is utterly useless.

EDIT: I was wrong, I know. Can you stop quoting me and telling me? Thanks.

I think i will design something like this that weekend and put it up for free on Thingiverse just to screw them over.

When we have nds emulators this could be handy :yaynds:

They actually provide a list of current and future games that can use vertical gaming view.

I rarely saw such a self explanatory picture here. Did you?
That's why I've been lazy. It's obvious what it is.

Sure everyone can do this with a 3D printer but this applies to many of the hardware posted in this sub.

There are already many (listed on their kickstarter) and for homebrew users (like me) there's even more.
pFBA can rotate vertical arcade games so this comes in very handy for those.

Oh sh*t that would be brilliant for pFBA

Gameboy emulator, DS emulator. Random assortment of games that use verticle gaming (shumups).

I'd love one of these. Shame I just can't support a kickstarter right now.

I love how utterly and completely wrong everything in this statement is. I've been playing 1945 on Switch TATE mode since August last year. There's currently 20 games that have this option, and more coming as they port older arcade games.

People started making 3d printed grips last year as well, posted on thingiverse. There's also a crude one being sold on shapeways. Wouldn't hold my breath for an official Nintendo peripheral used by niche retro gamers and NDS emulation.
