Hacking FlatMii vs. Wasabi / Features?

Hi! so I bought this Wii from marketplace, and when i turned it on it just showed the preloader menu. What should i do?

Bout to get a Wii for Valentine's Day (awesome gf, eh?

) and I really like the feature set of the FlatMii. I just wanted to know before buying, what features would I not have compared to something like a Wasabi? I know the FlatMii won't read burnt discs. Anything else?
